The Nassau County Police Department reported that on Wednesday, July 14, at about 9:20 p.m., Shawn Paprocki, age 42, of Baldwin, entered the home in Oceanside through an unlocked door.

Police said a 54-year-old man who lives in the home confronted Paprocki, and Paprocki began threatening him.

A 53-year-old woman who also lives in the home then called the police to report the incident. Authorities said Paprocki "was combative and highly intoxicated" when officers arrived at the home. He was arrested without further incident.

NCPD said no injuries were reported.

Police said Paprocki is charged with second-degree burglary. He is set to be arraigned on Thursday, July 15.
